Ayrton Rojas-Rocha is the Outreach and Marketing Intern for The Equitable Charging Access for Renters in the 805 Region (E-CAR 805) Project. In this role, Ayrton will be connecting with tenants of multifamily housing units—particularly in Isla Vista—to share information about electric vehicle charging and ownership options. He is currently majoring in Linguistics at UC Santa Barbara and is passionate about making sustainable technologies more accessible to underserved communities. Ayrton has previous experience in marketing, social media outreach, and educational content creation through his work with the Chicano Studies Institute and Prospanica Silicon Valley. He speaks English and conversational Spanish. Originally from California, Ayrton enjoys cooking, playing guitar, and organizing community events.
