About

Biography: Bhavya is the Outreach and Marketing Coordinator for the Take Back the Tap Program. She is a third year Political Science and Economics student with a minor in Statistics. Bhavya has research experience with data analysis and academic writing using LaTeX and R softwares. Her academic interests lie in understanding the costs and incentives associated with energy transitions in the Global South and reducing resource intensity of agriculture. In this role, Bhavya is responsible for promoting civic engagement in local water issues, raising awareness around the high quality of tap water in the area and the importance of equitable access to water, and encouraging the campus community to use reusable water bottles and drink tap water. She is fluent in Hindi and has intermediate working fluency in French. In her free time, she likes to read, tend to her plants, go on hikes, do yoga and try new plant based recipes!
