About
Elizabeth Lane is a Communication and Political Science double-major passionate about community outreach. As the Neighborhood Engagement Intern for UCSB’s Edible Campus Program, she connects Isla Vista residents to the UUMeIV Community Garden through events and educational workshops. Elizabeth’s interest in environmental justice sparked in a UCSB climate crisis course, where she learned how growing your own food supports both the environment and personal health. She has experience teaching mindfulness to youth, managing social media, and planning events. She speaks English and some French. Originally from Northern Virginia, she enjoys songwriting, yoga, and cooking in her free time.
