James is a Pre-Biology major with aspirations to pursue a career in the medical field and attend graduate school. He currently serves as an Outreach and Marketing Intern for the Edible Campus Program and is a Global Climate Leadership Council Fellow. In these roles, he helps promote workshops and volunteer opportunities, and leads community engagement initiatives aimed at fostering sustainability and aiding food insecurity. James has also worked as a tutor at Kumon Learning Center, teaching students in grades K-12, and previously assisted his grandfather in cultivating persimmon trees, an experience that sparked his appreciation for sustainable and environmentally conscious eating.
Outside of academics and professional commitments, James enjoys photography, wrestling, and collecting trinkets. He enjoys music, with current favorite artists being Fleeting Joys, Ecco2k, and The Smashing Pumpkins. James grew up in Covina California, San Gabriel Valley. He is fluent in English and is eager to explain edible campus program.
