About
Osmanthus spent several years helping to grow and sell produce at a Bay Area farmers' market. This experience prepared them well for their current role as the Garden Coordinator for the West Campus Family Student Housing Garden. In this role, Osmanthus is responsible for the day to day management of the community garden, provides direction to volunteers, and is the liaison between Edible Campus Program and Family Student Housing for garden planning and projects. They are a strong believer in principles of patience, sustainability, and community outreach, all of which have an important place in UCSB's campus gardens.
