About
My name is Angelina Talamantes. I am a second year transfer student majoring in Applied Mathematics at UCSB. I believe a central part of self-fulfillment is finding work that feels meaningful. For me this looks like taking part in environmental efforts through volunteer work. Throughout elementary and high school I volunteered and fundraised at a wildlife sanctuary and the Beagle Freedom Project non-profit organization. I've also become interested in habitat restoration and helped remove an invasive mustard plant at my local basin this past summer. As I finish my time here at UCSB I hope to connect with the lovely community of Santa Barbra while continuing to make a difference.
