My name is Carolina and I am a first-year student intending to double major in History of Public Policy and Law and Spanish, with an applied minor in Psychology. As a first-generation college student, I am passionate about giving back to my community. Growing up, I was surrounded by organizations dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need. Having personally benefited from these resources and services, I understand the meaningful impact they can have on people's lives. Those experiences inspired me to pursue opportunities to serve others and contribute to my community. I do have some experience as I currently go to Harding Elementary School, where I work with four students each week to help strengthen their literacy skills.
