Chloe Thao

Chloe Thao is a first-year at UC Santa Barbara majoring in History of Public Policy, Law, and Governance. She is passionate about serving her community and advocating for equitable access to resources and opportunities. During high school, Chloe interned for four years with a local Hmong nonprofit organization, where she supported community programs and youth initiatives. She also interned with East Bay Asian Youth Center helping promote mental wellness among the youth. As a summer student representative at Sacramento City Hall, she worked with peers and political leaders to bring community concerns to the City Council. Through the Climate Scholars program Chloe hopes to continue serving her community and build the skills she needs for a future career in law and public service.
