About
My name is Daisy, I am a third-year student majoring in sociology at UC Santa Barbara. I believe that having a sense of community is important to help others in need and to foster a feeling of belonging. Over my time here at UCSB, I have been able to mentor high school students on the importance of higher education, along with giving students campus tours. Being a resource to students, I believe, leaves an impact on them, as they have someone they can go to for advice. Outside academics, I enjoy taking nature walks, spending time with friends, and exploring new museums. During my undergraduate years, I hope to gain firsthand experience that will help me discover more opportunities.
