Farah Toukan is a Communication major at the University of California, Santa Barbara. After her graduation from the university in June of 2026, Farah hopes to work in multimedia communication, with a greater goal of representing overlooked voices. Although Farah was born in the city of Amman, she grew up in both Jordan, and different parts of the United States, having fluency in both the English and Arabic languages. As an Assessment Intern for the CalFresh Healthy Living Program, Farah will be assisting in collecting data and developing a report on the findings produced by the SLAQ and HENSPAA tools at UCSB. Farah has had past
report summarization experience while working with the UCSB Recreation Center, as well as the Associated Students Program Board.
