School Programs Manager, Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History
Jessica Prichard, School Programs Manager, has worked in museums since 2013 with 6 years at the Getty Museum and 7 years at SBMNH – she studied Education and Art History in college. Shortly after graduating, Jessica worked at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, coordinating the largest guided field trip program in the nation. Jessica came to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History in August of 2019 as the School and Teacher Services Coordinator and has been the Manager of the department since March 2024. She enjoys leading students through nature while working to make the wide variety of programs offered by the Museum for K-12th grade even more engaging by drawing connections to art and science. In March 2023, Jessica completed Community Environmental Council’s Climate Stewards Program where she developed a new school program for 5th-12th grade students about Environmental Conservation.
