My name is Jessica, I am a Junior at UC Santa Barbara majoring in Sociology and specialization in Applied Psychology. My previous work as an active community service volunteer has included 7 years of giving through my church supporting its youth programs. As a student I became a founding member of an environmentally-friendly club on my high school campus. The impact of having these students supporting one cause is especially important to demonstrate to the community that the youth is interested in cleaning up spaces we all reside in such as beaches, local parks and supporting non-profit organizations. Volunteering my time has sparked a passion for every community I involve myself in.
