Jocelynn-LeeLuu Marin-Ybarra

Hi! My name is Jocelynn-Leeluu Marin-Ybarra, and I am a fourth year student double majoring in Zoology and Earth Science with a Paleobiology emphasis. I am passionate about community service because I enjoy supporting both people and wildlife through education, conservation, and hands-on work. My prior experience includes volunteering at the Santa Barbara Zoo in animal care and conservation education, as well as participating in disease ecology research at UCSB. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of teamwork, communication, and giving back to the community. In the future, I hope to pursue higher education while working toward becoming a zookeeper at an AZA-accredited facility and contributing to wildlife conservation and animal welfare efforts. Outside of academics, I enjoy baking and going on long walks while listening to music.
