Liz Smith

Liz Smith has served as Community Engagement Supervisor in the City of Santa Barbara's Sustainability and Resilience Department since September 2023. First hired by the City in 2007, she spent two years as Administrative Specialist in the Creeks Division, followed by 14 years as Creeks Outreach Coordinator, before being promoted to her current role. She oversees the department's outreach, education, and code enforcement efforts across multiple divisions and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration, complemented by coursework in film, art, and graphic design.
