Marcela Izaguirre

Hello, my name is Marcela Izaguirre. I am a Junior, and a Political Science and History double major. I’m passionate about community service because I’m a strong believer in serving my community in any way possible. I also believe that you have to be the change that you want to see. Over the years, a lot of my volunteer work has involved working with underserved communities. I grew up as a first-generation, low-income student in a world that provided me with so many opportunities and resources. Through working with kids that remind me of myself, I hope I’ve been able to leave a positive impact. Wherever my professional career takes me, my ultimate goal is to continue helping others.
