About
My name is Mario Vazquez, and I'm finishing my first year at UCSB as an Applied Mathematics major. I am someone who is passionate about learning and enjoy the challenge of working through difficult problems. Outside of academics, I love playing soccer and spending time with my friends, it keeps me grounded and balanced. I also deeply care about helping out my community, which started through my involvement in my school's environmental club. Working on clean ups and local projects taught me the value of service and staying connected to the people around me. As I continue my studies, I'm excited to grow both academically and personally while exploring new opportunities as a College Corps fellow.
