Marlo DeWitt

My name is Marlo DeWitt and I am a second year Zoology Major. I first became a community servant in fall quarter of my freshman year, when I joined National Alzheimer’s Buddies, and I still volunteer as a Buddy to this day. I have also volunteered with SciTrek, SproutUp, and Coal Oil Point Natural Reserve. Community service has given me a profound sense of purpose and brought me so much joy. Growing up in San Diego, I frequented the San Diego Zoo and the Birch Aquarium and developed a deep love for animals. My goal is to work as an animal educator, bringing the natural world to life for curious people of all ages.
