Mirian Gutierrez has served as the DCAC Regional Manager for over 20 years and was the first in her family to attend and graduate from college, earning her degree in Political Science from UCSB. Her own experience as a first-generation college student directly informs her passion for college readiness preparation and public service. While in college, she worked as an undergraduate in outreach, an experience that shaped her entire career path. Mirian is also actively involved in Santa Barbara community organizations, including ballet folklorico and service on a local charter school board.
