About
My name is Sophia Walker and I'm a third-year English major at UC Santa Barbara. I've been drawn to community service since I was young, assembling care bundles for unhoused neighbors through Girl Scouts and later upcycling clothing and crocheting baby blankets for pregnant teens in foster care as an Eagle Scout. That instinct to show up with practical, compassionate support has guided my volunteer work with Stand Up for Kids and PATH and my role creating accessible course materials for students with disabilities. After graduation, I plan to pursue a master's in nonprofit management and build a career strengthening the organizations that serve communities.
