About
Valerie Meier has coordinated community-based literacies programs and mentored undergraduates at the McEnroe Reading and Language Arts Clinic for more than 10 years, first as a graduate student and now as Interim Director. She also has extensive experience mentoring undergraduates through the School Kids Investigating Language in Life and Society program. In 2018 she received the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education's Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring Award, and in 2021 she was awarded the campus-wide Carol Genetti Graduate Mentoring Award, recognizing her sustained commitment to undergraduate development.
