About
Estrella Alcaraz Munoz is a Political Science Major and the 2025-2026 UC Bonnie Reiss Leading on Climate Action Ambassador for UCSB. In the previous year, Ms. Munoz developed protocols for assessing the greenhouse gas emissions of procured goods and services. In that work, she addressed the emissions related to the procurement of office paper and electronics. Much of this work was incorporated into UCSB's draft Climate Action Plan (CAP). As the Climate Action Ambassador, Estrella will be a leader in gathering public feedback for UCSB's CAP. In her free time she enjoys exercising, reading, and baking.
