About
Paola’s gardening journey began in childhood, helping her mother care for ornamental and medicinal plants. Five years ago, she started an organic home garden. She now works as a Worm Wrangler at the Edible Campus Program student farm. She is the Garden Coordinator at the Isla Vista Community Center Garden, managing day to day operations, leading volunteers, and facilitating workshops. Paola is pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies and a geography minor in Spatial Studies. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Paola is originally from Fresno County and in her free time, she enjoys pottery, hiking, and knitting.
