Talyah Simmons

Talyah Leylany Simmons is a Sociology major with a minor in Feminist Studies at UC Santa Barbara. She has previously worked in student leadership and community-based educational programs, where she focused on outreach, mentorship, and equity-driven initiatives. In this role, Talyah will support grant writing and donor engagement strategies for sustainability-focused programs. She is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Talyah is passionate about community-building, youth empowerment, and creating spaces of care and advocacy.
